Terms of service

Effective date: 19 May 2026 · Tradie Tool Tracker · Australia

These terms govern your use of Tradie Tool Tracker hardware, firmware, software, dashboards and related services (“Services”). By purchasing, activating or using the Services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Who we are

References to “Tradie Tool Tracker”, “we” or “us” mean the entity operating the Services described on tradietooltracker.com. For notices, use hello@tradietooltracker.com.

Eligibility and accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorised use.

Subscriptions and fees

Paid plans are billed as advertised at checkout or in your agreement. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew until cancelled. We may change prices with reasonable notice. Taxes may apply. Failed payments may result in suspension of Services.

Hardware and installation

Trackers must be installed and used lawfully and safely, including visibility/consent rules that apply in your state or territory. You are responsible for compliance with workplace laws, electrical safety and vehicle regulations. Misuse voids any warranties we offer to the extent permitted by law.

Location services disclaimer

GPS and network coverage affect accuracy and availability. We do not guarantee recovery of stolen property or uninterrupted service. Last-known location and live tracking depend on device power, sky view, cellular connectivity and configuration.

Acceptable use

Intellectual property

We retain all rights in the Services, branding, software and documentation. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the Services according to these terms.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach, non-payment, legal risk or extended inactivity, as applicable. You may cancel according to your plan terms. Provisions that should survive termination (e.g. liability limits, governing law) will survive.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law and other applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data, or theft or damage to your equipment. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to resupplying the Services or the fees paid in the 12 months before the claim (whichever is greater), except for non-excludable statutory guarantees.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Courts in the state or territory where the business is registered have non-exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will publish a new effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

These terms are generic starter wording for a hardware/SaaS trade product. Have them reviewed by a lawyer before use in production; your entity name, governing jurisdiction, warranties and refund policy must be completed accurately.
