Site-tough

Step 1

Stash the tracker.

Magnet it, screw it, zip-tie it. Hide the low-profile TTT unit inside your toolbox, trailer or plant. Tradies hide them in places thieves do not look — under the lid, behind the battery tray, inside the spare tyre well. The smaller and more boring the spot, the better.

For trailers and plant, hardwire to a 12V loom and use the magnetic mount as a backup. For toolboxes and Packouts, the adhesive pad in the install kit holds in normal weather and trade use.

Step 2

Activate in the app.

Scan the QR code on the device. Name it ("Site ute toolbox," "Tipper trailer," "Big DeWalt kit"). Pick who in your crew can see it. Set the geofence around your yard or home address. Done.

One tracker, one minute. Twenty trackers across a fleet, fifteen minutes in a batch — we'll send a depot install kit and the bulk activation page.

Step 3

Watch from anywhere.

Open the dashboard on your phone. See last known location, battery, signal at a glance. Set up geofences for your yard, depot or site. Get an alert if anything moves when it shouldn't.

Crew dashboard. Multi-user access. Permissions per asset and per fence. Foremen see their crew; subbies see their own kit; the owner sees the lot.

Step 4

Flick on live mode.

Gear gone walkabout? Tap the panic switch. The tracker switches to 30-second pings and the map updates in real time. Share the live link with police or your recovery crew — no app install needed for whoever you send it to.

Last known location stays in the dashboard even if the device gets smashed. That data is what insurers and police actually use.

What you get in the box.

  • TTT cellular GPS tracker — LTE-M, IP67 rated
  • Mounting kit — magnet, adhesive, fixings
  • Activation card with QR code
  • Quick-start guide in plain English

FAQ

Common install questions.

If it's not here, ring 1800 TTT GEAR (1800 888 432) — Mon–Sat 6am–6pm AEST.

How long does install take?

Under ten minutes for self-install. Scan the QR code on the device, name the asset in the app, pick who can see it, stash the tracker. Done. Hardwire installs to a 12V loom take longer; a sparkie or auto-electrician knocks one out in 20–30 minutes.

Do I need a phone with the app?

Yes — iOS or Android. The dashboard is also available in any browser if you'd rather watch on a laptop or yard PC. One account, multiple devices.

What if I move the tracker between assets?

Rename the asset in the app. The location history follows the tracker, not the name. Keep notes in the asset description if you swap regularly.

Will it work without a phone signal?

The tracker stores location offline and reports the moment it gets cellular coverage back. Live tracking needs a live signal; last-known location does not.
